Professional Inquiries

Are you looking for research assistance on a project?

Do you need editing help for a book, or some other writing project?

Maybe you want a "Ghost Writer," or a writer, for a history book, biography, autobiography, or historical novel.

Do you need research for helping you dig up information for your family tree?

I would be delighted to work with you, or your group, on any of the above, or perhaps some other project.

Below, I have posted some information about myself along with my curriculum vitae.

I look forward to hearing from you!

I am a professional writer, researcher, and historian with more than 30 years experience. I have written more 400 newspaper and magazine articles, as well as three books about the history, and the people of the Georgian Bay region. I also was one of three historians who co-authored the Maritime History of Georgian Bay for Parks Canada.

Although you may think that I am just interested in projects related to the Georgian Bay region, nothing could be further than the truth. As a historian, I revel in the opportunity to use my research and writing skills to explore new stories, whether it is about personalities, regions, or events, I am always eager for a new challenge.

A perusal of the pages of history-articles.com will reveal that I have written about a wide variety of topics from my MA thesis about the impact of the forest products and tourism industries on the economy of the Bruce Peninsula, to the exploits of hockey players from Canada's Maritime provinces, to Indigenous topics such as land claims and the residential schools.

I look forward to hearing from you!
